1、 Efficient coagulation decolorization ability
Polymeric ferric sulfate can rapidly ionize a large amount of iron ions (Fe ³ ⁺) in water, which react chemically with dye molecules in wastewater or form easily precipitated flocs through physical adsorption, thereby achieving efficient decolorization of wastewater. Its enhanced flocculation can adsorb, bridge, and sweep small pigment particles in water, achieving a high degree of decolorization effect. Meanwhile, the iron ions carried by the self dissolved polymeric ferric sulfate in water also have a certain reducing effect on pigments in water.
2、 Organic matter removal ability
Polymeric ferric sulfate not only has decolorization function, but also can oxidize and decompose some organic pollutants in wastewater through its strong oxidizing property, which helps to reduce chemical oxygen demand (COD). This is particularly suitable for situations where printing and dyeing wastewater usually contains high concentrations of organic dyes and auxiliaries.
3、 Significant phosphorus removal effect
As an efficient phosphorus removal agent, polymeric ferric sulfate can form insoluble metal phosphate precipitates with phosphates in wastewater, effectively removing phosphorus from wastewater and helping to meet strict discharge standards.
4、 Strong adaptability
Polymeric iron sulfate in liquid form usually has good solubility and miscibility, and can maintain good coagulation effect over a wide pH range, making it suitable for the changing water quality conditions of printing and dyeing wastewater. Even in acidic environments, it can still maintain a certain degree of coagulation activity.
