Poly aluminum chloride, also known as PAC, is an inorganic polymer that is water-soluble and is formed from the combination of ALCL3 and AL (OH) 3. Its chemical formula is [AL2 (OH) NCL6 NLm], where m represents the degree of polymerization and n represents the degree of neutrality of the PAC product.
The product is typically a yellow or light yellow, dark brown, or dark gray resin-like solid. It is commonly used as a water purifier or coagulant due to its strong bridging adsorption performance. During the hydrolysis process, it undergoes physical and chemical processes such as coagulation, adsorption, and precipitation.
