Poly aluminum chloride, also known as PAC, is an inorganic polymer that is water-soluble and is formed from the combination of ALCL3 and AL (OH) 3. Its chemical formula is [AL2 (OH) NCL6 NLm], where m represents the degree of polymerization and n represents the degree of neutrality of the PAC product.
The product is typically a yellow or light yellow, dark brown, or dark gray resin-like solid. It is commonly used as a water purifier or coagulant due to its strong bridging adsorption performance. During the hydrolysis process, it undergoes physical and chemical processes such as coagulation, adsorption, and precipitation.
What sets poly aluminum chloride apart from traditional inorganic coagulants is its unique structure, which is made up of diverse multi-carboxyl complexes. Applications
