A defoamer or an anti-foaming agent is a chemical additive that reduces and hinders the formation of foam in industrial process liquids. 3. Improving paper quality: The use of defoamers in the paper industry can enhance the quality of paper. Removing bubbles can reduce the porosity of paper, improve its density and strength, and enhance its mechanical properties and durability. At the same time, improving fluidity can evenly distribute pulp on the paper machine mesh, avoiding defects and unevenness in the paper, and improving the appearance quality of the paper.
4. Improving production efficiency: The use of defoamers in the paper industry can enhance production efficiency. Defoamers can quickly destroy bubbles and release gas, thereby reducing the drying and curing time of paper and shortening the production cycle.
